Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park late in the day.
Buckingham Fountain is based on a similar fountain found at the Palace of Versailles near Paris, France.
It is part of Grant Park, built on landfiull jutting out into Lake Michigan away from the city of Chicago.
Every hour, the fountain puts on a display with water shooting 150 feet into the air. It is lit up at night.
